For anyone affected by Hurricane Helene, East Tennessee Midwifery and Yonder Midwifery are joining forces to provide free midwifery services for those in need. The birthing suite shown here is located in Oak Ridge, TN, and is available as a safe and welcoming space for those who can no longer give birth where they planned. We are also offering prenatal and postpartum care to those in need and birth services in other safe and accessible locations. Did you know that you can start your prenatal care with our highly qualified Certified Nurse Midwives?

Many expectant parents, especially those who are pregnant for the first time, might not know much about receiving care at a birth center. We hear from some of our clients that they thought they had to initiate prenatal care with an obstetrics practice first and then get “approved” to deliver at a birth center. Thankfully, that is not true!⁠
