🌟 Dancing for a cause! 🌟 Dr. Heather Pryor of Harbin Clinic Cedartown Family Medicine is lighting up the stage with Nash Williams of The Season Events.

They're stepping up for the Rome Celebrity Dance Challenge (RCDC), an annual fundraiser supporting the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia — a nonprofit providing 24/7 compassionate care and vital services to survivors and their families along with outreach and prevention education programs.

Get ready for a fun-filled day on Friday, July 4th, a day of food, music, inflatables and more at the 2025 Independence Day Extravaganza, sponsored by , and .

The park opens to the public at 4:00 p.m. with inflatables, face painting for the kids, and nine different food trucks and concessions available. Wristbands for the inflatables will be $5. Later in the evening, parkgoers can listen and dance to the Kevin Allen Band live from the Coca-Cola stage.

One of the largest fireworks shows in Georgia will be shot from the top of Jackson Hill starting at approximately 9:30 p.m. Zambelli Fireworks is once again shooting the display that will feature more than 1,500 fireworks of all types, colors and sizes.

Rome Radio Partners will once again be broadcasting a simulcast on Q102 (102.3 FM) featuring patriotic music to go along with the display. Just a reminder that parking for the event is $5 and card only.

Please keep in mind that large coolers, pets, drones, fires or sparklers are not allowed in Ridge Ferry Park. Parking is in the main park and the shoals side. Please follow staff members’ directions when parking.
