Neptune reenters Aries today to remain for twelve long years, dissolving the identities that kept us playing small while igniting a new instinct to exist, to act, to risk being seen. Old fantasies burn off in the heat of first contact with a new reality. New courage is forged in the body before it ever becomes belief. We are learning how to stand inside uncertainty without abandoning ourselves, and how to let vision move through muscle and choice, not just longing.

Though we are witnessing the crumbling of the scaffolding that once held our imagined world together, the world itself is not ending—only the old one is. And we are now tasked with imagining a new one into being. The gnosis we carry in our ancient bones is a knowing that lives in the nervous system and the marrow, so intimate we could midwife this passage with our eyes closed, guided by sensation, rhythm, and memory older than language. It is not abstract wisdom but muscular, cellular intelligence—the kind that knows when to breathe, when to brace, when to soften, when to bear down. This is the knowing that transforms us into the midwives we came here to be for this moment, for this threshold, to assist the Great Mother in her becoming. And in turn, our own. Now, begins the push.

When someone disappears from your life, it is rarely because you were too much, but because the moment required a level of presence they could not offer themselves—an unconscious retreat from their own inner life, where discomfort, conflict, or the fear of being seen could not be met—so what they could not hold within themselves was left unspoken and acted out through absence, leaving you with a rupture without witness, grief without repair, and the quiet shock of discovering that safety cannot be sustained where presence cannot be maintained, even as your real and tender feelings of confusion, longing, and loss arise from a bond ended not through mutually acknowledged truth but through disappearance, creating two pains from the same fracture: one fleeing the self, the other bearing the ache of unacknowledged connection.

The final invitation of the Wood Snake, is to turn toward yourself where they could not—to stay present with the pain rather than abandon it, allowing grief, confusion, and longing to move through you instead of hardening into self-doubt. By meeting your own inner life with steadiness and compassion, you restore the safety that was lost in the rupture and make space for release. In doing so, you honor the truth that some people can only walk with us for a time, and as 2026 unfolds and marks a season of shedding old identities and stories—especially those that once included others who are no longer able to remain— what continues is shaped by presence rather than absence and is rooted in authenticity rather than self abandonment.

Forgiveness is not approval.
It’s unclenching.
It’s refusing to keep poisoning yourself
with what happened.

Start small if you need to.
One breath. One softening. One step.

You are allowed to be done with the burden.

ā€œWhatever happens, stay alive. Don't die before you're dead. Don't lose yourself, don't lose hope, don't loose direction...

ā€œWhatever happens, stay alive. Don't die before you're dead. Don't lose yourself, don't lose hope, don't loose direction.
Stay alive, with yourself, with every cell of your body, with every fiber of your skin.
Stay alive, learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design.
Stay alive, stay alive inside you, stay alive also outside, fill yourself with colors of the world, fill yourself with peace, fill yourself with hope.— with Wow Scenery.
Stay alive with joy.
There is only one thing you should not waste in life, and that's life itself."
~Virginia Woolf

On this Solstice, may we remember that warmth is not only something we seek, but something we carry. Even in the longest night, a small, steady light lives within us—kept alive by breath, memory, love, and the simple choice to stay present. May we tend that inner flame gently, without urgency, trusting that it knows how to last through the dark.

As the light begins its quiet return, may we soften our grip on what has hardened us and let the season do its sacred work. May we rest where rest is needed, forgive what the cold has taught us to protect, and welcome the slow reawakening already underway. The sun is turning toward us again, and so are we—holding warmth, holding light, becoming ready in our own time.

Happy Winter Solstice!

In the words of Mary Oliver, ā€œTell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?ā€

In this season of my own life, I intend to soften into even more acceptance and allowance of myself—to release the old urge to fix, perfect, or prove. I want to meet every part of me with a gentler gaze, to let the fullness of who I am be enough. And from that softened space, I plan to turn up the volume and dance with her—the self that has waited patiently beneath layers of restraint and self-judgment. To move in rhythm with my own becoming, to live unapologetically, joyfully, and wildly present.

Can you feel it?

11/4 The moon is currently waxing to its fullness under such an already thin veil, and with Lilith also making an aspect to Neptune, this is amplified Epiphany and awakening energy. This is our oversoul conversing with our avatar, imagining something brilliant. A gem of an idea, or three, that we definitely have what it takes to create and breathe life into.
With a magical Grand water Trine and a retrograding Saturn in play as well, this energy is potent for envisioning and dreaming the impossible dream into form.

Authenticity is not a charm spell — it won’t ensure that every person you meet applauds, understands, or chooses you. In truth, some will misunderstand you, resist the change in you, or prefer the easier version of you that once bent to keep the peace. Being yourself isn’t about becoming universally palatable; it’s about becoming deeply aligned. When you stop performing for acceptance, you make space for honest connections rather than conditional ones. There is a quiet courage in letting your truth disrupt the comfort of expectation, and choosing that courage means accepting that approval is not guaranteed — nor is it required.

What authenticity does guarantee is that you can look yourself in the mirror without shrinking from the gaze staring back. There is a steadiness in waking each day knowing you chose integrity over imitation. When you choose yourself, even shakily, even imperfectly, you begin to cultivate a relationship with the only person who will accompany you through every chapter of your life: you. To like yourself — to trust your voice, to live in your values, to feel your spine straighten under the weight of honesty — that is the point. External validation ebbs and flows, but self-respect is the one form of approval that, once earned, cannot be taken from you.
