Mac has been training virtually with me for a month and gave me permission to share her first month check in!

- She was given a customized plan for her body and her goals taking into account that she has a shoulder that likes to flare up and give her grief every now and then

- She’s been given nutritional coaching including meal and snack ideas, and her caloric and protein intake needs to reach her goals without feeling hungry or tired

- so far she has lost at least three inches and 6 pounds in a month. She has more energy to get out and play pickleball, and was able to see her progress with her own eyes on the app with her progress photos.

I’m so freakin proud of her!!! She’s able to get on the app and workout on her schedule and I’m so proud that she has kept with it and seen the results - but has felt better overall.

I love seeing the joy spark into my clients eyes when they crush goal after goal.

No traditional workouts here. We focus on fun! Dancing, music, laughter, and your health.

I only have 8 slots for the morning and 8 slots in the afternoon so let me know and let’s get fit this summer!

For all the new people who have come on over and like my page, hello! my name is Kara- I’ve been a certified trainer and nutrition coach for seven years. My business name is Empowerment Fitness, and I would love to work with you! I provide custome made weekly workouts that can be done anywhere in the world, anytime, nutrition assistance, and coaching in finding joy and fun in your health and wellness again. As an educated trainer I am able to work with anyone beginner- athletes, but my passion is with people who are just starting or coming back from injury, chronic pain, and moms. Every once in a while I have to break out one of the many variations of this challenge.
But Kara! It looks awful!
Nah! Here’s why I love this challenge
1.) it forces you to work on your mental attitude. To trust me that I know you and know how hard you can push yourself. You can’t be in control of how long this challenge goes. So you have to let go and teach your mind that you’re stronger than you think.
2.) it’s just fun. It’s funny trying to keep up with the song. The adrenaline forces you to want to crush it and keep up!
3.) most importantly it shows you that you are capable of hard things. There are modifications of this challenge for every skill level, but none of them are easy. Sometimes you need a trainer to remind you that you are strong enough where you are, that you can do hard things, and that the scale isn’t the only thing that shows victories.

So you see the challenge. Grab something you can jump over. Turn on “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC and jump every time they say “thunder”. Make it your own! Have fun with it!

Try it…I dare you!
