Where Art Meets Science

Atlanta Orthodontic Arts was created by bringing the previous practice of Dr. Robert Rutrick under the umbrella of Depew Orthodontics, a well-establish two office/two doctor practice serving the northwest Metro-Atlanta area.

Dr. Rutrick was a well-respected orthodontist for his knowledge and skills in advanced treatment of TMJ, sleep, and cranio-facial disorders along with conventional orthodontic care. With his unexpected passing (after four decades of practice), Dr. Depew accepted the task of taking over his patient load, along with his incredibly talented and loving team (Kim, Monike, Sally, and Elias).

Dr. Depew comes with nearly three decades experience treating people with standard orthodontics as well as advanced techniques using SmartClip self-ligating braces, Clarity ceramic braces, Clear Aligner Therapy, and Incognito lingual braces (hidden behind your teeth). He is recognized as being at the top of their field in these areas. Dr. Depew is also a frequent speaker, including overseas, teaching and training orthodontists and their team members.

We aim to make your braces invisible yet highly effective...all three people in the above photo have different kinds of hidden braces. Our office is conveniently located near the I-75/I-285 interchange in the North by Northwest Business Park, off Windy Hill Road overlooking a beautiful duck pond. We welcome visitors of all ages interested in improving their smile, self-confidence, and health.
