Alhamdulilah registration is now open for our Annual Marriage Retreat which will be taken place this year at Crystal Springs Resort. The Poconos didn’t seem like they were too fond of Black folks at their establishment, irrespective of the 25,000$ we spent last year. So we decided to find a place that was more accommodating to our religious traditions, dietary needs and purpose. The amenities are bette and more expansive, the facility is cleaner and staff has been very accommodating thus far. Alhamdulilah we will have sister Zafirah Michelle Renee Davis, Imam myself and a few others on board to assist with our program. You do not need to stay together for the kids if the environment is TOXIC. Growing up in a hostile home where the adults are yelling and fighting is traumatizing. It’s selfish. Sometimes couples don’t get along in a relationship, but do great as co-parents, and that’s okay 💕
