The 2025 Stand Down has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Atlanta Dunbar Recreation Center, located at 477 Windsor St. SW, Atlanta, GA 30312. Stand Down is one of the many tools we use to outreach and serve Veterans experiencing homelessness with the specific aim of helping them move toward housing, employment, and financial independence.

At the event, the Atlanta VA Healthcare System will provide services and resources to Veterans experiencing homelessness, including Emergency Shelter, Housing Resources, Medical/Mental Health Triage, Barbers, and Vocational Opportunities. Veterans needing intensive treatment services will be properly referred.
