The Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation has officially surpassed $100 million in grants since 2007! Throughout the years, has remained dedicated to investing in organizations across Georgia that provide compassionate, hands‑on care. This year, the grants emphasize direct patient care delivered through charitable clinics, mobile medical units, community health programs, pregnancy centers, recovery ministries, and nursing education programs. We are incredibly grateful to be longtime recipients of this support, as Georgia Baptist has generously invested in Good Samaritan Health Center since 2009. We are honored that Good Sam is part of their generosity and share in their commitment to spreading Christ’s love through quality healthcare.

This past Saturday felt different in the best way. We rolled up our sleeves and served with Kiwanis U40, a group we’re proud to help build from the ground up. 💙✨In just 14 minutes, they packed 120 hygiene kits for our Friday patients. A little later than usual, but we have officially wrapped up our 2026 Development Planning Retreat! We had so much fun mapping out the year for Good Sam and can’t wait to see how the year unfolds! And special thank you to .ga for hosting us and providing us with a great space to do our best thinking. ☺️💭

We are incredibly grateful to have volunteers that see our mission and love it! This past Friday we had join us on the farm to help us prepare for the springtime by mulching and clearing farm beds to prepare for new crops to be planted. Thank you so much for coming out and volunteering at Good Sam!

That’s right. Lots of markets across Atlanta offer matched EBT for fresh fruits and veggies. Just like The Market at Good Sam, many Fresh For Less partners not only accept SNAP/EBT but match it, helping your dollars go further. Check out Wholesome Wave Georgia to see the full list. Grant Park Farmers Market and Carver Market are just two great examples.

In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month, students from came to visit to learn all about taking care of their teeth, preventing cavities and overall oral hygiene. It was so fun seeing them learn and ask our dental hygienists questions. Thanks for visiting us! Until next time! 😀🦷🪥
