Welcome to Family Eye Clinic. Conveniently located in the Towne Lake area of Woodstock, we are committed to providing quality eye care and eyewear.

We treat every patient as though they were our own family member - hence our name! Family Eye Clinic provides the highest standard of eyecare for the entire family, including comprehensive eye exams and a complete selection of contact lenses and glasses. Dr. Mike and Dr. Bugenske identify, diagnose, and treat vision complications from diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. They also co-manage pre- and post- cataract and Lasik surgery. We are proud to offer the latest in eye care technology at our office. We utilize the Optos Retinal Imaging camera, which is able to view 200⁰ of the retina without requiring dilation drops! We also check eye pressure with iCare - meaning no more air puffs! We have a wide selection of frames as well as a complete line of contact lens varieties. Dr. Mike also provides many treatments for dry eye disease. We're excited for the solar eclipse coming up on April 8th and want to make sure everyone knows what to look for to make sure that their solar glasses are safe!
To meet the requirements for safety, the glasses will have an "ISO" logo on them and state that they meet "ISO 12312-2 Requirements". They will also list the manufacturer (for example: American Paper Optics) but ALSO the address of the company. Many counterfeit glasses will not have the address listed.
Since we are not in the path of totality, you should keep the glasses on for the entire time you are observing the eclipse.
