Continuing the tradition of a post-holiday celebration, the annual Sports rehab center party this past weekend did not disappoint. Celebrating over 30 years in practice, I can say that this is the most cohesive, loyal and talented group of people that we’ve ever assembled. Although “graduation from PT” is always a favorite day, it is bittersweet particularly when someone has been coming to the clinic for almost 9 months. We are grateful and appreciative when a professional athlete and their medical staff places their trust in our staff. They say it takes a village and the leader of this village has been Max Sterenson, who has worked tirelessly with Timmy Horne, of the New York Giants, to get him back to NFL playing shape after an Achilles tendon rupture. A fantastic weekend for The Sports Rehab Center! Our physical therapists, Brian and Max, attended the 43rd Annual Injuries in Baseball course, where Brian had the honor of presenting our injury prevention program. The event, led by the renowned Dr. James Andrews, featured an inspiring keynote speech by John Smoltz on the importance of mitigating injuries in baseball. Brian and Max also connected with top leaders in the baseball sports medicine community, furthering our mission to keep athletes healthy and performing at their best.

2025 is a very special year as it represents the 30th anniversary of The Sports Rehabilitation Center. We are extremely proud to be the longest tenured private orthopedic and sports physical therapy practice in Atlanta. Our success is due to both our amazing staff, with an average experience of over 15 years, and our patients who continuously place their trust in us.
