The Hundred
A foundational exercise that strengthens the core, improves circulation, and enhances endurance.
Begin by lying on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the mat, then lift your head, neck, and shoulders off the ground while extending your legs straight at a 45-degree angle. Hold your arms by your sides, palms facing down, and pulse your arms up and down in small, controlled movements while engaging your abdominals. As you inhale for five counts and exhale for five counts, continue to pump your arms, maintaining a steady rhythm and deep engagement in your core. Focus on keeping your spine stable, avoiding any tension in your neck, and breathing deeply throughout the exercise.
