The event begins with breakfast in the Floyd Room at the Sloppy Floyd Building at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at the Georgia State Capitol, where attendees will have the opportunity to connect with legislators and advocate for the future of medicine in Georgia.

to when MAG's AMA delegates showed up in full force at the AMA Interim Meeting in National Harbor. Wearing their green blazers and using their strong voices, they helped advance national policy on AI oversight, prior authorization reform, rural health, and the fight against automatic downcoding. Georgia’s priorities were heard, and patient-centered care remained our guiding focus.

We’re excited to highlight this week’s GPLA graduate, Dr. Chris McAdams (Class XIII), a diagnostic radiologist specializing in breast cancer. Dr. McAdams is pictured with Georgia State Rep. Sharon Cooper, U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, and former Georgia Supreme Court Justice Mike Boggs, representing the strength of physician leadership across Georgia.

The 2025 Medical Association of Georgia House of Delegates was a tremendous success. From an inspiring keynote luncheon and an impressive abstract competition to two engaging HOD sessions and social events that fostered fellowship, the weekend showcased the strength and unity of Georgia’s medical community.
We proudly celebrated the installation of Dr. Deborah Martin as MAG President and extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Debi Dalton for an incredible year of leadership. We look forward to keeping the momentum going as Dr. Martin begins her presidency.
