When you support Sunrise Centre, your are supporting our ability to provide a safe, warm, structured healing space for those that struggle with substance use and mental health conditions.

When a person comes to our inpatient treatment program they are able to stay in our facility for weeks and up to 3 months! They participate in intensive daily group and individual treatment, receive Counseling, Coaching, Case Management, and Medical support. They receive nutritious meals and a warm safe space to reside while strengthening the skills and tools needed to continue their healing journeys and sustain sobriety in the community as they continue their treatment and recovery journey in outpatient setting.

Sunrise Treatment and Recovery Centre is in desperate need of a new facility to replace our existing space. Our new facility is designed and furniture has been selected. We just need some mlre community support in our fundraising efforts to bring this project to fruition. Our new facility will be modern, have a much better layout for clients and for staff, be more economical to maintain, and allow us to expand access to care and resources for our community members and outpatient clients.

As we approach GivingTuesday, please consider making a donation to support our project! You can donate at sunrisectr.org by clicking the donate button. You can also pop in with a check or make a donation at Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan to our special project fund!

We still have a number of spaces in our facility available for sponsorship, if you are looking at how to support us further!

Sober Steps Community Ask โ„๏ธ

As we get ready to serve our community this winter, we just picked up a truck for snow plowing โ€” but weโ€™re still in need of the plow + mount to make it fully functional.

Weโ€™re specifically looking for a Western UltraMount or UltraMount 2 setup.

Used, affordable, or even a little beat-up is totally fine โ€” we believe in second chances for people and equipment. ๐Ÿ’›

If anyone in our community has connections, knows someone upgrading their plow, or has a setup theyโ€™re willing to part with, we would be incredibly grateful.

We are also open to donations, whether itโ€™s unneeded equipment or funds towards our mission.

Sober Steps was built on the foundation of recovery, resilience, and helping where we can โ€” and we appreciate every bit of support that comes our way.

Together, we keep each other moving forwardโ€ฆ and this winter, hopefully keep the driveways cleared too.

Thank you all so much for the love and support.

โ€” Jes & Bryce
