“At one level fertility care is elective. At another level it’s a disease that needs to be treated.” – Dr. Daniel Shapiro

Fertility care is often misunderstood. While some see it as a choice, for many it is a necessary part of treating a medical condition that prevents them from building the family they dream of.

At RBA, we believe fertility is healthcare, and every patient deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

What does it mean to be a Board-Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist? 🩺✨

Board certification is more than a title; it’s proof of a physician’s advanced training, expertise, and commitment to excellence in patient care.

To earn this distinction, a doctor must:
✅ Complete years of specialized fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology & infertility.
✅ Pass rigorous written and oral examinations from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
✅ Stay current with the latest research, treatments, and technologies through ongoing education.

Our Story

RBA was established in 1983 as Georgia’s first IVF treatment center. Our physicians boast more than 172 years of cumulative experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and they have achieved in excess of 30,000 IVF births. Our specialized treatment plans combine compassionate patient care with state-of-the-art technology, much of which our physicians pioneered.

Over that past 30+ years, we’ve remained steadfast in our commitment to the development of revolutionary technologies and techniques to enhance pregnancy outcomes. And naturally, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved. But we’re more interested in what we can help you achieve. Because even the most sophisticated medical technology is valueless to you if isn’t right for your needs. We never forget that our job is the same as it was when we met our first patient in 1983: To help create families. And as far as we’re concerned, there’s no greater goal—or achievement—than that.

If you have attempted conception for six to twelve months without success, or experience two or more pregnancy losses, we encourage you to contact the experienced staff at RBA.
