FLEXOR MUSCLES play a vital role in POSTURE. They connect the torso to the legs and these muscles attach at the spine, pelvis and femur. These attachments affect the body's ability to stand up straight. Strong hip flexor muscles help prevent an imbalance that can cause muscles and joints that support the torso to over compensate. Hip flexor stretches will help to lengthen tight muscles. Here ya go:
HIP FLEXOR STRETCH
1st begin the stretch in a kneeling lunge position
2nd push your hips forward until you feel a comfortable stretch in the hips
3rd lift your arm above your head (same side as kneeled knee)
4th turn chest toward raised arm while hips remain straight
