Atlanta — if chronic knee pain is slowing you down, there may be another option.

For patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis, Geniculate Artery Embolization (G*E) is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure designed to reduce inflammation and relieve chronic knee pain.

• No major surgery
• Outpatient procedure
• Minimal downtime

If knee pain is interfering with your daily life, a consultation can help determine if G*E may be an option.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s an important reminder that not every symptom should be written off as “just fibroids.”

Fibroids can cause:
- heavy bleeding
- pelvic pressure
- constipation
- anemia

But colorectal concerns can also show up with:
- bleeding
- bowel changes
- abdominal pain
- fatigue or low iron

Different conditions can share overlapping symptoms, which is why getting the right evaluation matters.

And when fibroids are the cause, Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) may offer a minimally invasive treatment option.

Investing in the next generation of physicians matters.

Dr. Kevin Carson was honored to sponsor a table at the Atlanta Medical Association, Inc. Heritage Fund Scholarship & Awards Gala, ensuring seats were filled not just with leaders in medicine — but with future leaders.

We were proud to host Clayton County Public Schools’ Doctor’s Club scholars at this prestigious event celebrating academic excellence and the future of healthcare.

Exposure matters. Mentorship matters. Representation matters.

Supporting young scholars as they pursue careers in medicine is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen healthcare in Atlanta and beyond.

Thank you to the Atlanta Medical Association Heritage Fund and Clayton County Public Schools Magnet Programs for the work you’re doing to inspire future physicians.

This past weekend at the Atlanta Black Expo, we didn’t just educate — we invested. 🖤

Dr. Carson made it a point to support the young Black entrepreneurs who were out there building their dreams in real time. Because every Black business started somewhere. And sometimes what a young visionary needs most is someone to see them, believe in them, and pour back into them.

We’re proud to stand behind the next generation of builders, creators, and leaders.

Keep going. Keep dreaming big. We see you.

Shoutout to these amazing young business owners we had the honor of supporting:

What a weekend at the Atlanta Black Expo! 🙌🏾🖤

We had powerful conversations, answered real questions, and connected with so many incredible women about fibroids and the options they deserve to know about. The awareness is growing — and that matters.

We also got to share how we help beyond fibroids, from knee pain to hemorrhoids and other non-surgical treatments that keep people moving and living fully.

Thank you to every woman (and man!) who stopped by, shared a story, took a symptom check, or booked a consult. Community education is how we change outcomes.

ATL showed up. And so did we. 💪🏾

We join the nation in remembering Rev. Jesse Jackson — a leader whose voice and presence shaped conversations around civil rights, equity, and unity for decades.

This photo captures a meaningful moment in Dr. Carson’s life while serving as President of the African American Society at Dartmouth College — a time when Rev. Jackson’s message of opportunity and bridge-building deeply influenced young leaders across the country.

Rev. Jackson’s commitment to opening doors and elevating voices will not be forgotten. His impact reaches far beyond politics — into communities, institutions, and generations.

We extend our condolences to his family and to all who were shaped by his leadership as our very own Dr. Kevin Carson was.

May his legacy continue to inspire progress and unity.

Recent reporting has raised questions about certain chemicals found in some hair products marketed to Black women.

While more research is needed, scientists continue to study how environmental exposures may influence hormone-sensitive conditions — including uterine fibroids.

Fibroids are estrogen-responsive growths, and Black women are disproportionately affected.

This doesn’t mean one product “causes” fibroids.
But it does mean awareness about overall health, hormone balance, and environmental exposures matters.

If you’re experiencing heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, or fibroid-related symptoms, know that minimally invasive treatment options like UFE are available.
