Turn your phone on do not disturb (or leave it at home!) and take a stroll through the woods or maybe a nearby park. Listen to the sound of your breath, the wind between the trees, and sound of your heartbeat. After 15-30 minutes, you'll feel so much better.

Do you find yourself taking too long to fall asleep at night, waking up frequently, or too soon?

💤 Science tells us that we need 6-8 hours of sleep each night to get the rest and rejuvenation necessary for optimal health. There are a lot of things we can do to help make sure we get the sleep we need including having consistent bed-time routines, limiting electronics, reading before bed, and having our last meal several hours before turning in.

Life is about choices and decisions. When it feels like your mental health is slipping, you are presented with a choice: you can feel like there is no way to feel better, or you can seek out the things that do. While you can't always choose the situations you're in, you can always decide how to feel about them.
