I hope that we can use this page to discuss what is working and help each other in recognizing the positives in their own life. Whether we recognize it or not, even in the midst of a terribly difficult situation, we do somethings that are right. We don't always recognize it since we have been taught to focus on what did not work. In this page, I hope that we can assist each other in seeing the positive steps we took.

Today on the tour, our guide told us that the laughing Buddha is the Buddha of the future. He said the big ears are so he can really hear all our troubles, and the big belly is there to hold them, swallow them, digest them. As he was talking, I could feel my body relax a little. So I said a prayer there, and again with the lanterns. I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s actually true, but it felt true in my body. I sent as much good energy and care as I could out into the world.
I also got to stand near a 600-year-old banyan tree. This tree has lived through so much violence and history and still kept growing, still standing. Being near it, I felt strength. Iโ€™m wishing that kind of resilience for all of us as we move through this world.

Between moments of dread, panic, anger, and sadness, I'm glad to have friends that remind me to take a break. I am glad to not be alone and hate that we are experiencing this. I'm glad to be away, and worried about our country. I'm worried about my clients, my friends, my family, and myself. In between bouts of tears, I'm glad to have nature supporting me as it always does. I'm sending my support to all that are fighting for human rights.

If you know me, you know I love Cumberland Island! I go hear to get my head straight, get back to myself after being with all the craziness in our world. There is not hate there, no racism, no judgement, and all the joy and peace you want to soak up by being cradled by the love of nature!
They are at it again, trying to destroy it with pavillions and rental places so it can be like every other touristy island along the coast of GA. PLEASE HELP! My friend has been keeping me updated. Join and comment pubically here:
