We are delighted to transform students into competent, passionate professionals ready to tackle the complex and dynamic challenges of public health in neighborhoods and the populations in the United States and the world. The Mercer Department of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CePH) in programs offered in both Atlanta and Macon, Georgia. We offer undergra

duate and graduate degrees, and combined degree programs. We also provide our faculty, students, and partners access to cutting edge research opportunities through our Center for Evaluation and Applied Research. Public Health is a vastly growing field, and Mercer's Public Health program offers students a rewarding opportunity to help reduce health disparities and to improve the quality of life for families and communities. Mercer offers a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) degree, a generalist MPH degree teaching skill sets that open doors to various opportunities in the field, and combined degree programs in DPT/MPH, PharmD/MPH, and MMSc/MPH.

Solicitation of Third-Party Comments for the Department of Public Health Council on Education for Public Health Reaccreditation Review

The Department of Public Health at Mercer University is undergoing a review by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for reaccreditation. Part of this process includes the provision of a third-party comment period, which allows anyone, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, community and practice partners, and members of the public, to share relevant information about the Doctor of Public Health Program, Master of Public Health Program, or Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program directly with CEPH.

You may submit confidential third-party comments about the Doctor of Public Health Program, Master of Public Health Program, or Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program directly to: submissions@ceph.org. The deadline for submitting third-party comments to CEPH is August 14, 2026.

CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit public health programs and schools of public health.
