Hi my name is Jessica Captain and I am the owner of Spa Amore. My hometown of Swannanoa/Asheville, North Carolina has had catastrophic flooding. Many people have lost everything, entire homes were swept away in raging flood waters. My heart breaks with every image and video I see. Communication is being limited due to power lines down and road conditions are unsafe with mudslides and washout.

My mission and purpose has always been to help people in need. Whether it’s to ease stress through the art of massage or to help unite as a community in tough times. Now is a tough time and I want to do what I can to help. That is why Spa Amore will be having a donation box at our office if you can and would like to donate. Once conditions improve in a week or so we plan to travel up with a trailer loaded with supplies that we can distribute to people in need. If anyone wants to donate we ask for help with baby formula, diapers, wipes, jugs of water, toiletries and other essentials for everyday living. Everything we receive will be donated to families in need. Thank you 🤍

Good Afternoon from Spa Amore and great news!
Spa Amore was issued a business license from the City of Roswell yesterday and will be reopening soon!

After much back and forth getting all the paperwork in order for the new ordinances and many new requirements, the license was issued on Friday 3-22-24.

We would like to assure you all that despite the way it was reported, Spa Amore was in no way suspected of any wrongdoing. This was all just due to paperwork issues.

We would have opened up Friday afternoon/Saturday morning, however we are still waiting on the City to remove the no longer valid stop work notification sticker from our door.

Thank you to all our clients, friends, and the community for your understanding and support during this process.

We will be reaching out shortly to begin rescheduling any affected appointments, and apologize to anyone that was inconvenienced during the last 4 days.

Spa Amore Temporary Closure

Greetings,
As many have already heard, there have been sweeping closures of massage establishments across the City of Roswell due to compliance issues with new and ever changing regulations put into effect earlier this year to address human trafficking and other illegal activities. Unfortunately due to the most recent change and a paperwork discrepancy, we did not meet the business compliance requirements and our business license is now under review by the city.

We have taken the necessary steps to have the our license fully reinstated, and are currently waiting on the local government to process the appeal. We have been in contact with the city hall officials as well as the Roswell police department to help rectify this paperwork issue as quickly as possible. We hope we can return to normal operations and meeting our clients therapeutic and relaxation needs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please rest assured that Spa Amore will continue to care for the community and your individual well being by providing professional massage therapy services soon.

We will provide updates as they come available.
