For the majority of our upper blepharoplasties, we recommend local anaesthesia. This involves taking a powerful oral sedative and the only pain felt is a very quick injection of local anaesthesia from a needle as small as used for Botox. The procedure the lasts about 35-40 minutes. It is a completely comfortable experience and can decrease operating room and anaesthesia fees; we perform 99% of our upper eyelid blepharoplasties using this technique.

Refreshed 👀s after a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning for this beautiful 53 YO female 👇👇
Our standard transconjunctival (all incisions within eyelid) technique was used, her natural fat was repositioned to fill in the hollows below. Since no skin was removed, our trusty laser was used to tighten the skin. The postoperative photo is 4 months after surgery. As always we thank our amazing patients for trusting us!

Refreshed 👀s after a lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning for these beautiful 46 YO 👀 👇👇
This lower blepharoplasty was performed during our standard transconjunctival (all incisions inside the eyelid to avoid surgical scarring). The lower eyelid fat was transposed to fill in the tear trough hollowing. The after photos are 3 months postoperative.

Refreshed 👀s after an upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning for this 67 YO male 👇👇
Big changes should still look natural!! This 67 YO male was unhappy with the extra skin of his upper eyelids and puffiness of his lower eyelids. We performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty; the lower eyelid blepharoplasty was done with transconjunctival incisions (all within the eyelid). Our trusty ECO2 laser was used to resurface the skin. The postoperative photos are 4 months after surgery 👇👇
We have many male patients (about 35% of my practice), and the majority look for a refreshed but natural look. Adjustments are tailored to meet each patient’s goals.

The lower eyelids were approached with a transconjunctival incision (inside the eyelid), and the fat pads were repositioned to fill in the tear troughs. Because no skin was removed, our trusty was used to resurface the skin.
