Im not scared any longer to speak about this.

I've known these connections existed for a very long time...it's something I see often in my healing practice...

But I hadn't wanted to be vocal before.

That time is over.

We cannot watch what's happening in the US without seeing the ways in which Christianity has been part of this.

I'm going to be speaking very specifically on Catholicism but of course Catholics are also Christians.

I speak about this because it's been such an important piece of my own healing.

And it's soooo important for you to know how amazing, you are...just as you are.

Did you hear this message as a kid?

Can we talk about it?

Because wtf does that even mean????

Of course you ran like a girl.

You WERE a girl.

But in our culture...this implies something negative.

Something that usually means slower. Not as fit as the boys. Different.

And what happened in your body when you heard that?

You internalized a message that there was something wrong with you...just for being you.

If, right now, you still have programs of anxiety and "I'm not good enough " running around in your brain...

It's from these old messages.

And it's time to release then

And create true happiness.

You are already more than enough.

I need you to know that this s**t is ancestral.

You come from a long lineage of women who were raised in patriarchy.

Whi h means that when you can't say no to that client's crazy expectations...

There's a very real and valid psychological reason for it:

SAFETY.

The way out is not from "learning your lesson".

Its from allowing your body to know that this is a very valid response.

And.

It's also safe now to create a new level of safety.

Let's create a life you really love.

By reprogramming your oldest subconscious and ancestral s**z.

Y’all, if your income goes up and down like a rollercoaster...

It's because you learned that s**z as a childhood program.

When your identity is tied to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who figures it out, your body doesn’t know how to rest and stay ambitious.

Then you feel like you have to sprint.
Then collapses.
Then shames yourself for the cycle.

This isn’t about trying harder.

It’s about teaching your nervous system that success doesn’t require that heaviness anymore.

I spent a long time trying to figure out my brain.

And what I finally understood was that it's not possible to grow up with a God who decides on whether you'll get into heaven based on how much you follow his rules...

And come out of that unscathed.

So if you grew up in Abrahamic religions, and are wondering why you still operate with a sense that you might get in trouble for doing it "wrong" ...

I found myself doom scrolling this morning while eating breakfast.
