If your mind has been saying, “But this is good enough as it is.”

Kiddos that age don't know how to "just calm down".

(And frankly, telling someone who's upset to calm down...never works. No matter the age.)

This is part of the reason we remain stuck in fight or flight as adult women. We were never given permission to actually be sad or angry .
