To My Community,
A short update to say, I found out I needed an urgent, but relatively simple, surgical procedure beginning of December and worked up to the date of surgery. Two weeks ago, I went in for a 1hr outpatient surgery that very quickly went sideways due to several complicating factors.
For so many reasons, the magnitude of my support team near and far being one of the greatest factors, the trust I have in my ability to listen and discern to take decisive action being another, me and my body are healing very well.
I know many of you were jostled around scheduling accommodations and asked to make some abrupt changes with little information, so this is why.
My appreciation for my partner, Andrew, who has been by my side literally for two weeks, family, friends, my staff and Dr. Brittney, who jumped right in to help where she could with no question, and Cole, my farm tenant who stepped in to care for all the animals is immense!
And today, I get to continue to heal while
I watch the snow come down in my favorite place. I’m full to the brim.
