HOW LONG IS A MOMMY
MAKEOVER RECOVERY? Recovery from a mommy makeover typically spans several weeks to a few months. Most patients can return to work after 2-3 weeks, as swelling and discomfort begin to ease. By around six weeks, normal activities, including light exercise, are usually permitted, with incisions healing well. Visible improvements appear by three months, and while most healing completes by six months, it can take up to a year to see full, final results.

MEET CHRISTIE COX, RN, BSN
COSMETIC NURSE INJECTOR Christie is a cosmetic nurse injector specializing in cosmetic injectables as well as non-surgical aesthetic rejuvenation. Christie began her nursing career in 1997 where she spent ten years in the neonatal ICU at Grady hospital, her aesthetic career began in 2006 with injectables as her focus. Previously Christie has worked with several prominent Plastic Surgeons in the area and spent time as a medical science liaison for Galderma, makers of dysport, sculptra and the family of restylane products. Christie trained physicians as well as other practitioners in the science of the products as well as training injection techniques. With her extensive experience Christie brings great value to Plastic Surgery Centre of Atlanta under the
direction of Dr. Brothers. In Christie’s time outside the practice she enjoys traveling and spending time with her three children when they are home from
college.
