Nutrition Student Network of GSU

The Nutrition Student Network is a student organization at Georgia State University. Anyone interested in nutrition is welcome! NSN holds monthly meetings.

The Nutrition Student Network (NSN) is an officially chartered student organization at Georgia State University. It provides a forum for students interested in nutrition to interact with each other, participate in community service/volunteer projects, promote visibility of nutrition within the Georgia State community, and learn about the profession of nutrition/dietetics career path. Examples of NSN activities include:

- Presenting classroom activities to students in grades 2-5 focusing on MyPyramid.
- Participating in community activities, such as Merrick’s Walk, Healthy Kids Day, and Fit Fair.
- Conducting National Nutrition Month activities, such as conducting lunch-and-learn programs, working at the Atlanta Food Bank, and participating in the Georgia Food Festival.
- Hosting speakers on food and nutrition topics.

March is National Nutrition Month! Food connects us in so many ways, and NSN wants to provide a space for connection. Come join us at any of our National Nutrition Month events to meet other students, learn about healthy habits, and even get some freebies. More information will be posted about future events, but join NSN on PIN to get automatic updates on all event dates (Link in Bio!)

Got a valentine? Stop by the Student Center East courtyard on Friday for NSN’s valentine bake sale for you or your loved one! ❤️ We will be selling mini chocolate chip cookies, energy bites (gluten free), and sweet potato brownies (vegan). We will also have some beautiful roses for sale. Come learn about our purpose, chat nutrition, and indulge in a healthy, sweet treat! 💕
