Dr. Chana Campbell Chana Campbell is the creator of Chana Campbell Body.Mind.Soul and the CEO of New Beginnings Counseling & Consulting, LLC.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provided mental health and wellness services. My passion for holistic therapy and women’s wellness inspired me to create Chana Campbell Body.Mind.Soul. The wellness program is designed to help women obtain optimal health and focuses on vital areas such as physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. At New Beginnings, we envision a safe haven where hurting individuals come to heal, recover, and grow. Life can present many challenges, and the therapeutic process can be a transformative experience. As a trained clinician, I am passionate about offering quality therapeutic services to each of my clients. All sessions are tailored to fit the unique needs of the individual. My specialty areas include trauma, parenting, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, spirituality, and grief/loss. It is my goal to educate and empower those I serve. In a world that shouts “Do more, be more, achieve more”…

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is less.

💡 Doing less doesn’t mean giving up. It means creating space for your mind to breathe, your body to rest, and your spirit to hear God’s whisper.

✨ This week’s wellness challenge:

Pause before you say “yes”

Let go of one thing that drains you

Replace constant doing with intentional being

You don’t have to fill every moment to be valuable. Sometimes, stillness is the most productive thing you’ll do all day.

As the week begins please remember:

✨ You deserve to be well.
✨ You deserve to protect your peace.
✨ You deserve support, not shame.
✨ You deserve to go slow if that’s what healing looks like for you today.

🧠 Your Mind needs room to breathe. Turn down the noise of comparison, expectation, and urgency. Speak to yourself with kindness. Be curious, not critical.

💪🏽 Your Body deserves love today—not just when you meet a goal. Feed it nourishing food, stretch it gently, hydrate, and listen when it says it's tired. Your body is not a machine. It’s your sacred home.

🙏🏽 Your Soul may need stillness or prayer, connection or quiet. Give it space to hear God, to feel grounded, and to realign with your purpose. Protect your spirit as fiercely as your calendar.

💜 Healing comes with boundaries. Period. 💜

When you’re on your healing journey, everything in you may want to go back to your old way of pushing through, of over-explaining, of hustling past your limits. But that old way didn’t honor your soul.

Here’s what healing boundaries might sound like:

🚫 “No, I’m not pushing myself past my limits today.”
🧠 “My reality is valid. I don’t need permission to feel what I feel.”
🛑 “I don’t owe anyone an explanation for how I choose to heal.”
💞 “This season is about me rebuilding the most important relationship I have — the one with myself.”

Healing is not about pretending you’re okay.

It’s about protecting your peace, honoring your energy, and giving yourself the grace to rest, reset, and realign.

💜 Let’s talk about it — survival mode. 💜

It doesn’t always look chaotic on the outside.
Sometimes it looks like holding it together just enough to get through the day…
But inside? You’re worn thin.

Here are 3 real signs you might be stuck in survival mode:
🔄 You keep repeating the same habits and patterns
You promise to change — to slow down, say no, show up differently — but somehow, you’re right back where you started. It’s not a lack of discipline. It’s that your nervous system is stuck in a loop.
⏳ You lose chunks of your day
You look up, and hours have passed. You don’t even remember what you did. That autopilot feeling? That’s your brain conserving energy while it’s just trying to cope.
😩 You feel constantly exhausted
Even when you’re doing “less,” you still feel drained. Like no amount of sleep can catch you up. That’s emotional fatigue, not just physical tiredness.

💜 You’re not lazy. You’re not crazy. You’re not weak.
You’re a human being who’s been in survival mode for way too long.
