This client has strong density on top and in the front, with significant thinning at the crown.

In cases like this, the back and sides were cut much shorter to reduce the horseshoe appearance around the crown. SMP doesn’t have height or dimension, so it can’t compete well with longer hair in this situation. Leaving the hair longer would’ve made the area look uneven. Shortening the surrounding hair creates a smoother, more balanced blend.

Long-Term COVID-Related Hair Loss is Real
