Vaccines are important to our public health.

This morning, public health and medical professionals gathered at the U.S. Capitol to share their support for vaccine science at a Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) press event.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders introduced the topic and the speakers, including APHA Executive Director Dr. Georges Benjamin.
Benjamin and other public health leaders discussed the importance of vaccines in protecting children, families and communities — and saving millions of lives.
