🌈As my great grandmother did with me I hope the seeds that I am sowing in my children will be planted in my grandchildren and great grandchildren. When we go out to pick weeds or harvest food it seems so simple and natural. The ease that comes to my body knowing that I can feed my family not only from the grocery store is exceedingly humbling. 🌱The transformation of land down this soil and the amendments to the land to a wonderful harvest of lettuce, collard greens, turnips, radishes, tomatoes, peppers, melon, squash and cucumbers from my own garden is a blessing.

I am learning so much in this garden! It’s almost been a year of growing food and observation of that growth🌱The bounty of the garden has me busy as a bee making herbal salves, oxymels, and baths. I am thankful 🌈 I just want to feed everyone lol. I will gradually get there. For now I feed my hungry boys lol, huband, offering to neighbors, chickens, and rabbits 💫 Our next yoga class will include participants picking an item from the garden. What y’all think?
