It’s often when I’m rushing or forcing something that it doesn’t work out for me. I’m focusing more on being intentional in my life. I barely showed up yesterday but guess what? I showed up. The consistency will get me where I want to go. How are you being consistent today?

I hear “it takes a village” so much! Especially when you have children and often I notice people can be triggered by this statement. Maybe they don’t live near family. They don’t have close friends. I even hear how the people close to them aren’t “showing up”. My first question is “are you a good villager?” This means who are you helping? Who are you showing up for in a practical way? Yes, I’m hearing you wish your parents could pick your kids up from daycare because they are retired. But what role are you playing in their village?
