With the elections and so much going on in 2020, it's hard to stay in the present moment. Stress and worry can be a result of thinking too far into the future which can cause physical stress in the body.
Do these 3 things to get present:
1) Do a physical check-in. Scan the body and relax each part of your body then breath deeply and slowly.
2) Ask yourself about your current circumstances - do I have health right now, lights on, food in the fridge, etc
3) Find gratitude in your life - family, friends, job, breath, spiritual life.
Please stay aware and present of our mental and physical connection.

As my mother and I are quarantined in two different cities, processing a family tragedy, having groceries delivered to her seemed like an urgent expression of love.
