Sacramento’s KCRA News reported AB 867 as one of the top pieces of legislation to come out of the 2025 session!

California lawmakers and the governor have approved more than 900 new laws that will begin to take effect starting next year. They include measures to cap insulin co-pays, ban cat declawing, and prohibit plastic shopping bags.

Happy Halloween from our home to yours!

A super special thank you to a teeny tiny cat toy company, The Mouse Factory (catnipstore.com) who sent us this super cute catnip filled witches hat as a sample with the order I placed for Paws Whiskers & Claws, The Feline Hospital! We are so grateful, super cute and a must have for next year’s retail offerings! We had a photo shoot with the hat as everyone took turns checking it out.

Off to witchcraft scouts! Ha!

He finally made it you guys! Tank’s first successful tree climb in our front yard. He’s been trying all of his short little life, now he is a “big boy” (or possibly our smallest boy ever) and at two years old, made it up this Sugar Maple tree. He gracefully dismounted onto mommy’s shoulders! Higher up is a no go!

Satu, who’s name comes from the novels (she’s crazy sweet and does not live up to her namesake) would be invisible if not for her “special vest” made by !
