Thinking about getting a rhinoplasty, but worried about scars? You're not alone!

Dr. Farzad R. Nahai shares that over his 20-year career, he most commonly sees very minimal scarring and happy clients ☺️

So, how is scarring reduced with this kind of procedure?

If an open rhinoplasty is used, the small incision is placed on the columella, the narrow strip of tissue between the nostrils. Once healed, this area is typically very difficult to notice.

If nostril narrowing is part of the procedure, those incisions are tucked into the natural crease where the nostril meets the cheek, so they blend in naturally over time.

The goal is always the same: a beautiful, balanced result where your nose looks great and scars are not what anyone notices.

Liquid Rhinoplasty has become incredibly popular, but what can it actually achieve? We asked Dr. Farzad R. Nahai for his expert opinion on this non-surgical procedure.

He explains that Liquid Rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers to make temporary, subtle changes, such as:

➡️ Smoothing out minor bumps on the bridge of the nose.

➡️ Lifting a slightly droopy tip.

However, it has its limits: it cannot make a nose smaller, narrow a wide base, or fix functional issues. It's a great temporary option, but true, permanent structural change requires Plastic Surgery.
