As April—and Oral Cancer Awareness Month—comes to a close, it’s important to stay proactive about your oral health year-round.
Make it a habit to check your mouth and throat monthly for early warning signs of oral cancer, including:
• Persistent mouth sores
• Red or white patches
• Unexplained lumps or swelling
• Difficulty chewing or swallowing
If any of these symptoms last longer than two weeks, schedule an evaluation with our office. Early detection can make all the difference.
