In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month , Forward West Professional Pharmacy would like to encourage each of you to get your yearly mammograms! African American women have a higher risk for developing forms of breast cancer that are harder to treat , which is why it’s important for all of us to encourage each other to get screened and get screened often! Early detection is the key to survival, so be an advocate today and encourage your friends and family members to get screened in the month of October! 😁💓
