This Friday will be special!!! As a part of a full day of Be Love Day events, there is a youth concert at 4 pm at the King Center featuring Jade Novah, Van Van and Heiress Harris!. So excited to be talking with the students from Grand Canyon University about what to expect from supervision post graduation. Most people starting out working as a master level counselor and don’t know what they don’t know. So it’s exciting to be supporting our up and coming therapist with setting a real expectation around who should be guiding them on their licensure journey! Looking forward to October 26th! Be sure you take good care of your mind. How you might consider doing this may include: 1) journaling or sharing your thoughts and feelings with those you trust; don’t bottle up your feelings. 2) Think positively, look for the lesson in all situations; 3) learn to calm your mind and slow down thoughts through meditation or unplug from people and devices routinely 4) Eat healthy, drink water, keep your gut clean and limit sugar, caffeine and meat 5) move your body, exercise, stretch - our bodies and minds are connected so you have to take care of them both. Be kind and patient with yourself ❤️
