Druid City Doula

Druid City Doula Druid City Doula exists because every person in Tuscaloosa should have the support of a doula. I believe all birthing people should have access to a doula.

Founded by Emily Altman in the fall of 2016, Druid City Doula provides birthing people in Tuscaloosa with continual physical, mental, and emotional support before, during, and after birth despite life circumstances, income level, or location. Every expectant parent should have the best possible birth experience. Every expectant parent has a voice and that voice should be heard. DCD's purpose is to

help birthing people have the best possible birth experience and help ensure that their voices are heard. By partnering with Birthwell Partners, DCD is able to offer free and reduced-cost doula services to low-resource parents in the Tuscaloosa area.
