Our new study calls for focused efforts to lessen persistent racial and ethnic disparities in HIV prevention and treatment in order to achieve the end of the HIV epidemic in the United States. Our study showed that compared to White non-Hispanic heteros*xual active adults (HAAs), Black HAAs have a 20-fold higher HIV diagnosis rate and Hispanic HAAs have a 4-fold higher HIV diagnosis rate.
