Mikayla, a determined young woman from Pontotoc, MS, faces the challenges of an autoimmune disease that results in retinal bleeding.

To seek specialized care for her rare condition, she journeys to Nashville, TN, where Vanderbilt University Medical Center houses one of the few experts available.
