We’re excited to be part of this important community conversation on how we can work together to create stronger pathways to employment, health, and opportunity for people with disabilities. We hope you’ll join us at Switzer Library on August 29 to be part of the dialogue!
How can we best work together to create a future where people with disabilities—and those who support them—have clear, supported paths to meaningful work and overall well-being?
Cobb County Library’s Accessibility Services Department, in partnership with disability organization Lapapoe, invites you to a community conversation featuring speakers from the Tommy Nobis Center, Babies Can’t Wait, Cobb & Douglas Public Health, globally recognized advocate Winston Ben Clements, and others. Together, we’ll explore how early intervention, public health, and workforce systems can, collectively, better support individuals with disabilities.
This free event will take place on Friday, August 29 from 4 pm - 5 pm in the Community Room at . It is for parents, professionals, advocates, and anyone committed to building a more inclusive and equitable community!
