Family Medical Center Provider Spotlight

Zanetta Bryant, FNP, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, received her registered nursing baccalaureate from the University of West Florida in 2011. As a RN, she gained beneficial experience and knowledge working hands on with patients within the hospital system and home health. In 2014, she received her Masters in Nursing from Georgia College and State University. Since then, Zanetta has expanded her knowledge and experience to include internal medicine, inpatient rehabilitation, assisted living care, health coaching, aesthetic rejuvenation, and urgent care. Affectionately called Z by her patients, she is passionate about helping people re-establish balance into their lives from the inside out and looks forward to providing excellent care for you and your loved ones.

In her free time, Zanetta enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying physically active, and spending time in nature.

Family Medical Center Provider Spotlight

Jonniece Priester-Searcy, FNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in emergency care, family practice and urgent care. Jonniece graduated from Upson Lee High School, served 6 years in the United States Navy as a dental technician. In 2005, she was honorably discharged and began pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. Later deciding that nursing was where her passion truly was. In 2010, she obtained her Associates degree in nursing and in 2014 her Bachelor degrees in nursing from Gordon College. She went on to obtain her Master's in Nursing and became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 with special interests in acute care, gastroenterology and dermatology. She resides in Thomaston with her husband, son and also has a grown daughter who serves in the United States Navy. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, dining and watching crime series.

Family Medical Center Provider Spotlight

Tony Rives, PA-C has been with Family Medical Center since returning to Georgia in 2007. He is a graduate from the Medical School of Georgia’s Physician Assistant Program. He’s been a part of medical care since his time spent in the U.S. Army, starting in 1989. He has worked in various fields including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and family practice.

He is a proud husband to his wife Jacquie, and the father of two lovely girls, Tori and Abby. Tony resides in Griffin. In his spare time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys traveling, as well as serving their church together.

Kaylyn Strickland, APRN is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 7 years of specialized experience in cardiology and cardiovascular health. She joined our team in 2024

Kaylyn graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing from Gordon State College in 2016 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of West Georgia in 2019.

She began her career at Navicent Health in the Heart Tower in 2017 and continued her career at Piedmont Fayette in 2018, where she practiced in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and neurological conditions. She then obtained her Master’s Degree from Columbus State University in 2024.

Kaylyn has a passion and clinical interest that includes patient education and preventative medicine. She has developed a deep interest in functional and integrative medicine, recognizing the importance of treating the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms. She blends conventional practices with evidence-based lifestyle interventions to address the root causes of illness and promote long-term health and vitality. Kaylyn prioritizes building lasting relationships with her patients across the lifespan and believes in a collaborative approach.

Outside of work, Kaylyn is a wife, and mom to two precious boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, watching her oldest play soccer and football, and crafting.

She believes that nursing and caring for others is a privilege. “Your profession is what you were put on this Earth to do with such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling”

Family Medical Center Provider Spotlight

Maggie Maguire, FNP was born and raised in Pike County, and has very strong ties to the local community. Maggie graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Emory University in 2012. She began her nursing career at The Medical Center of Central Georgia Emergency Dept in Macon, Ga in 2012. She then transitioned to Upson Regional Emergency Dept so she could work closer to home as she completed her Masters Degree. Maggie graduated from University of South Alabama in 2016 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Maggie worked as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner for the past 8 years, and loves the fast pace of emergent/urgent medicine. Maggie joined the Family Medical Center in February 2022, and has enjoyed expanding her knowledge and practice in the family practice setting.

Over the past several years, Maggie has developed a passion for functional health and prevention. She has completed functional health education courses through The Elite NP, and has enjoyed combining that knowledge with traditional medicine to better serve her patients. She enjoys a focus on gut health and lifestyle changes to decrease/ avoid pharmaceuticals.

During her free time she enjoys exercising, cooking, camping, and traveling the panhandle beaches of Florida with her husband, kids, (9,6,4 and 3) and their 3 dogs.
