Here’s a quick guide to help you stick it like a pro:1️⃣ Wash hands + don gloves2️⃣ Apply tourniquet & find the best vein3️⃣ Cleanse site (30 sec scrub!)4️⃣ Insert catheter bevel up at 10–30°5️⃣ Look for blood return, advance slightly6️⃣ Thread catheter, remove needle7️⃣ Connect tubing, flush with saline8️⃣ Secure with dressing & label it!9️⃣ Dispose sharps safely 🚫🩸🧠 Pro tip: Stay calm, confident, and always assess for patient comfort!💬 Nurses—drop your favorite IV tip below 👇
