Dion Metzger, MD earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Emory University School of Medicine. She also completed medical research at Stanford School of Medicine and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Metzger shares her expertise in media about many topics including relationships, work/life balance, common psychiatric disorders and mental health in pop culture. She has been featured on The Doctors, NBC, HLN, Oprah Winfrey Network and in The New York Times. She is currently a professor at Emory University School of Medicine, Medical College of Georgia and Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Metzger also has a private practice in Atlanta, Georgia and is the co-author of The Modern Trophy Wife: How To Achieve Your Goals While Thriving At Home.
