You want the SlayRx: Here is who we are!

SlayRx is a collection of products that were developed by masters level UGA educated Food Scientist Srikanth aka Sri over several years during his own Ironman training. Sri owns a highly profitable food/ingredient manufacturing plant right off the bypass in Atlanta, Ga. He wanted the most effective and affordable products for hydration, electrolyte replacement, fueling, energy, and recovery. He wanted them to all work flawlessly as he had a lot of money and time spent training for his major events. Sri had the capacity to break down what was on the market into what worked best for him and hopefully others.

At the time, Sri, who was being coached by Chuck Sims, a multi-time Ironman and one of a limited number of Level IIE’s in USA Triathlon, was given multiple tests along the way by Chuck to assist in Sri’s events. These included various baseline tests and race simulations, all intended to help Sri dial in his individual needs for him to eliminate error associated with failure and to maximize success. The back and forth between the two gentleman contributed to a clear idea that they were onto something special.

Chuck was coaching in a firm called TriCoachGeorgia.com, partly owned by Dr. Harvey Gayer aka Coach “Slayer”. Harvey, who was Level IIE and was fresh off of a Kona Qualification and Finish too, often discussed the concepts of testing and limiting error in the hydration, fueling, energy, and recovery options for his endurance athletes with Chuck. Both coaches’ athletes tried almost everything on the market and still were not satisfied with the full range of options. Each product came up short in some way. And testing was not as tightly tied to performance prescriptions like they wanted to do. Current methods were haphazard and based on general directions that had to be tracked and iterated systematically over a long period of time.

As such, the two certified coaches joined forces with Sri and over many months with many subjects, attempted to dial it down the entire process to more efficient, specific and empirically valid testing leading to reliable and accurate results in the field. The gentlemen found the best testing methods they could complete, in similar controlled environments to the races their athletes would compete in. They then matched these findings to products Sri originally developed (and now subdivided into the ranges that were most often seen in testing) so their subjects could back up Sri’s personal successes, which they did! Hence, they were ready to bring the services and products to market.
