Letting customers know Raven's Nest Herbals will NOT be at the GA Renaissance festival fall fling this year. It's just too much for us to borrow another vendor's shop space and going into the evening so late.
We will be at the Alabama Renaissance festival in Florence, AL the end of October as usual. We're still always selling via mail order.

This past weekend at the GA Renaissance festival, we were asked by patrons for Mugwort for breathing difficulties. I don't know where they are getting this information, but we strongly advise doing plenty of research before just running into a store for herbs, supplements or anything for a condition and hoping it works. You may not have good information! Mugwort isn't for lung issues. Mullein leaf has received a lot of publicity for that. Mugwort, if ingested in a tea, must be in small, measured amounts. It's used for female issues among other things but mostly in salves EXTERNALLY. Don't go with just one piece of information in a blog as truth. A good source is The American Botanical Council, or books like Commission E monographs, Potters New Cyclopedia of Botanicals where actual research and contraindications are noted.

If you have not yet purchased tickets for the GA Renaissance festival, be aware you will now have to purchase online for specific dates.

IMPORTANT TICKETING ANNOUNCEMENT!
Starting today, we are making admission tickets date-specific, meaning that you must choose a date to attend the Festival when you purchase your tickets. If you have already purchased tickets good for any day, they will still be honored for any day, but going forward tickets will be sold for SPECIFIC DATES!

We hope these changes will ensure our guest’s experience at the Festival is enjoyable and will alleviate long lines at booths, stages, restroom areas, and limit parking delays entering or exiting the property. It is our hope that dated ticketing and attendance limits will level the attendance over all Festival weekend dates.

Announcement: due to tariffs and our suppliers prices increasing, the prices on the Raven's Nest Herbals website are no longer current. For most items NOT from China, there is a 10% increase. Those items from China will effectively double or more. Some items may become unavailable.

Please refrain from any political comments. This is beyond our control and we are very apolitical. We'll weather through it as always.

We're edging into weekend 2 at the Georgia Renaissance Festival ! While GARF is 40 years old, Ravens Nest Herbals has been there 36 of those years! Thanks to our customers, both old and new for coming out and so many who are now dear friends.

Raven's Nest is atthe Georgia Renaissance festival Fall Fling! We're not in our usual building but by the turkey legs food booth. In what is usually Ancient Arts shop! Saturdays from 2pm to 9pm. Due to poor cell and wifi coverage, bringing cash is encouraged.

I am truly blessed with "employees" at GARF who are family to me. I had an emergency with my mom and had to leave last Thursday. Right before end of fair. My wonderful crew handled a record crowd in the shop, then packed everything away for two days. I cannot thank them enough. Thanks to customers and friends who reached out to me too. Truly blessed.

It's the last weekend for Georgia Renaissance festival. Ravens Nest Herbals is all the way in the back of the fair next to the Garden Stage and Roguish Highlander kilts. It's worth the visit! Lady Raven will not be on site, but our great herbal smelly team will be there! Slainte!
