What is the number one most important piece of advice I have for raising good kids?...Listen! Put the device down. Listen to them in the car, listen at the dinner table. Let your kids know that what they have to say and share is worth hearing. My 3 kids were always talking at the same time, fighting for my attention. What a JOY! They each wanted to be heard and feel that what they were saying was important. So pay attention! Smile! And put that phone down! The number one indicator of success is....family dinner. No need to make any excuses about this precious time. This is a fact. Make a point to have everyone's feet under the table at least twice per week.
