The members of the Atlanta Alumni Association are comprised of alumni and honorary members of Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity and Tau Beta Sigma Sorority located in the Atlanta Region. The members of AAA work together to exemplify the principles of integrity, leadership, and commitment, while providing service and support to the band programs in the Atlanta area. The AAA members also encourage the advancement of education and leadership development to the students in which they serve. The AAA works diligently to foster a strong bond with the local undergraduate chapters in the Atlanta area, to give the membership valid and wholesome experiences in organization, leadership, and social contact.

📌 Memorial Service Update 📌

Due to extreme weather concerns this weekend, the memorial service has been rescheduled. The service will now take place on Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church. This date works best for the family, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility.

The Sigma Alpha Iota Atlanta alumnae Chapter will host a celebration of the life and legacy of Soror Pamela Burgess Ward on January 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church. This memorial service will be a heartfelt tribute filled with music and shared memories. The program will include a memorial band and choir, along with video reflections honoring the profound impact she had on so many lives.

July 15-19, 2025 | Atlanta Alumni Association of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma had the privilege of attending National convention at Lexington, Kentucky. A few highlights:
🤍 AAA was able to sponsor two collegiate members registration for Nat. Con!
🤍 Soror Janae McCloud served as the convention photographer
🤍Soror Thea Murphy Hosted a Belly Dancing Class & was Honored with membership into Kappa Kappa Psi

GBSI students have been actively engaged in a wide range of musical and leadership opportunities throughout the summer and fall. Check them out as they continue to trailblaze, lead, and shine during their senior year!

💙Sean Mouzon has been super busy this season. In July he attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute for a Two Week horn intensive and learned along horn players from around the country, and participated the HBCU Soundcheck with RedBull
💙Haley Thomas was awarded a full scholarship to FAMU band camp and also interned as an assistant director for Cedar Grove High School serving the role as Assistant teacher
💙Ahnijay Manning participated in the JSU high school “Baby Boom” Band camp. Manning earned his role as the 25-26 Trombone Section leader!
💙Congratulations to Shauney Moore for earning a spot as a Drum Major of the SWD Band
