Ki Of Life Reiki My name is Alicia and I provide the healing services of Reiki, which helps to balance and relax the So What Is Reiki? What Can Reiki Do For Me?

Reiki (Ray-Kee) is a Japanese form of healing energy therapy where hands are placed on or above the head and body to promote healing. Reiki translated simply means universal energy. Every living thing on this planet has that energy, but when it is imbalanced problems can occur. Reiki helps to balance and restore the energy in our bodies. Some of its benefits include:
- Pain Relief
- Stress Relief
- Relaxation
- Emotional Healing
- Helping with Pregnancy Discomfort
- Quicker recovery from surgery and accidents
- General Overall Wellbeing

So How Can I Get Started? I offer Reiki by appointment only. You can call, email, or message me through Facebook to schedule your time. A session is typically 1 hour, but you can also choose a shorter 30 minute session if you don't have as much time. If you can't get to me or are out of state I off distance Reiki as well.

As we enter into the darkest night of the year, take time to reflect and release. This has been a rough year for us all, but the Solstice reminds us that after the dark, comes the light ☀️

This is also the perfect time to meditate on the while practicing stillness 💙

Hey friends!

I know it's been a WHILE. But,

Being an empath is hard. Energy work is hard. Being human is hard. And sometimes we need to take a break. I honestly still feel like I should be laying low (that's my stellium talking) but the universe is pushing me out of my cave.

So for those of you who are interested, I'm planning to start offering Traditional Japanese Reiki courses and limited healing sessions. Be on the lookout for more info, and let me know if you're interested in either.

Happy 1st new moon of 2019!

Many people like to start new habits on the 1st of the year, but for some it can be a lot of pressure. It's best to take your time and do incremental changes that won't set you up for failure.

I chose today to begin a water fast and meditation regimen to help me gain some clarity, and prepare for the new opportunities I'll soon be embarking on.
🌌
New moons are the perfect time to release and renew. Here's a really good activity to help you release negative thoughts about yourself while creating powerful positive affirmations that will lead to growth.
🌌
1. Write down 10 negative beliefs you have about yourself.
2. Read the list outloud and notice which ones resonate with you the most.
3. One at a time, take a negative statement and turn it into a fully positive one. (Be sure to only use positive words)
4. Recite your new positive affirmations as many times and as often as you like.
5. Remember your thoughts and your words create your reality.

The last day of 2018.

I wont lie and say that I'm sad to see it go. In the grand scheme, this has probably been one of the top 5 most difficult years of my life. But despite the stress, heartache, frustration, and worry, I'm thankful. I'm thankful for every lesson and blessing because they'll make future me even better.

✨✨✨

When things get difficult, it's easy to succumb to the doldrums and live in a place of lack and despair. But by developing a spirit of gratitude we can see our lessons and blessings even in the darkness. This of course isnt easy, but by adding mindfulness as a daily practice, that darkness will get brighter and brighter. Don't just save mindfulness for meditation or yoga. Don't just save gratitude for the good times. Keep them both with you always.

I wont lie and say that I'm sad to see it go. In the grand scheme, this has probably been one of the top 5 most difficult years of my life. Today marks the last full moon of 2018: The Winter Moon in Cancer. And yesterday was the Winter Solstice and longest night of the year. Emotions are running high, and we're all up in our feelings.

It's also the holiday season for many folks which means extra family, stress, planning, and exhaustion. But believe it or not, this is a blessed time of year and the perfect time to really study our emotions and grow from them.

Try and get some quiet time to yourself, even if it's just for a few minutes. Acknowledge your emotions and think about where they're coming from and what you can learn from them to improve yourself in the future. You can write it down or just make a mental note. If you have more time, take a cleansing salt bath first.

The Winter Solstice gives us a powerful lesson in endings, beginnings, darkness, and light. Where is there a long night in your life? Where in your life do you want the sun's light to soon shine? Don't be emotional just for the sake of being emotional. Use these feelings to work towards your highest good ❤❤❤

If you're anything like me, this time of year make you want to retreat inwards. Staying inside cuddled up and warm. Chances are you may be nothing like me lol, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't still take some time to retreat. It's ok to take breaks. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't posted in over a month. I took a little break from posting on Instagram, and guess what, the world didn't end lol.

It is important for us to take breaks and remove ourselves from situations when we need to. Always check in to see what your triggers are for , , , , etc.

Once you've checked inward you should have a sense of what positive things you need to add to your life. And this December 7th new moon is the perfect opportunity to bring them into existence.
