Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic

Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic Buckhead pediatric speech-language therapy clinic with emphasis on Late Talkers, Receptive/Expressive Language and Articulation/Phonological Processing.

Thank you for visiting Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic's page! We have been fortunate to work with some amazing Atlanta families in recent years, and as a result, have built some incredible relationships. This page is an opportunity for us to connect with current and new friends, share a little about what’s going on in our world and give back to the community. Our professional purpose is simple: to build confidence in children that need support in improving their speech and language development. Like most of you, we’re also parents. And we understand the challenges of raising children with a disorder or delay (important word we like to use because all kids learn at different paces). We’re also proud of our abilities to not only work with children but also educate their parents on how they can help. Understanding speech therapy can be a daunting task for a parent, so we keep it simple by implementing terms like our 3-Step Method which you can check out at www.chatterboxatlanta.com. And while we pride ourselves on treating most speech and language disorders and delays, we have built an emphasis on Late Talkers, Receptive / Expressive Language and Articulation / Phonological Processing. It is our privilege to work with children and help build their confidence. We look forward to connecting with you as well, and we’re always available to answer questions about your own little chatterbox. We also look forward to sharing helpful tips, links and guides - and maybe one or two photos of happy chatterboxes in the making.

Signs You’re a Special Needs Parent

• You know what it feels like to fight for your child in a room full of professionals who don’t live your life
• You’ve developed an internal clock that tracks meds, meltdowns, and therapy schedules
• You’ve mastered the art of dodging flying iPads
• You hear silence and immediately assume something’s wrong
• You’ve smiled politely while someone told you their cousin “grew out of it”
• You grieve and celebrate at the same time… often for the same thing
• You hold a thousand fears in your chest and still manage to show up
• Your house is baby-proofed like a CIA facility
• You get angry when people say, “God only gives special kids to special parents” but sometimes, you repeat it to yourself anyway
• You feel like a failure even when you’re doing the impossible
• You’ve learned that strength doesn’t always look like power… it often looks like showing up again tomorrow

And yet… you keep going.
Because giving up isn’t an option.
Because love like this doesn’t ask for perfection.

You’re not alone.
And you’re doing more than most people will ever understand.
