Effective management of intraoperative hypotension is essential to maintaining organ perfusion and patient stability, especially in high-risk populations such as obstetric and elderly surgical patients. The vasopressors most commonly used to treat hypotension during anesthesia and surgery include epinephrine, ephedrine, and phenylephrine.
